Funner on the Last Day Summer
Labor day in the #District definitely didn't disappoint this year, but does it really ever any year. The whole #DMV is popping, and for those who are not familiar with the term #DMV it is an acronym that stands for the District of Columbia along with the states of Maryland and Virginia. Originally the term was taken on by the inhabitants of the 3 states that either touch or are so close that you can see the other states from your location. Most people from around the country and world view the #DMV as 1 entity due to the strong similarities in how people talk, dress, and most importantly what they listen to. As time moved the acronym has spread to show love to the entire 3 states.
So we posted up on Connecticut Ave downtown for the grand opening of a CBD shop that some of our photography staff was in attendance of. They had some cool products by the way. Stay tuned and we may plug you in with a future article. If you could only see me right now tapping my fingers while smiling a megamind smile. Anyways the #DMV has always had a unique way of showing its swaggadociousness. Yeah I know its a word if I say so though (smiling again). Some great examples of #DMVites who have unique fashion sense are recording artist #Wale or the #GoGo band #BYB other wise known as Backyard Band. #BYB consist of actor Anwan #BigG Glover known for acting in #HBOs mini series "We Own the City" and several other series and major motion pictures along with several talented band members who are successful entrepreneurship with things like food, fashion, and shoe ventures. The thing about all of them is that they perform all over the world, but they take the #DMV and its swag wherever they go.
